This book was good and bad. It started off nothing like I expected. It's more like a comic book hero in the beginning. It's almost like 3 stories in one. It's a little all over the place. It seems as if there are 3 endings. This could have had a lot of potential BUT was a little to scattered for me.

The Forgotten Hero edition by Frank Percacciante Jennifer Lorenz Claudette Cruz Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews

Although I am not a fantasy fan I found this book hard to put down. The action moves quickly with many twists and turns along the way displaying the authors rich imagination and descriptive abilities. It was a fun read for me. I must mention that the cover art work was perfect showing the seemingly harmless but ultimately ominous clock tower imbedded in the scene of Glastonbury.
An unlikely hero, magic rings, memory loss, Rome...it's like a giant melting pot of so many fun and interesting ideas. The influences here are obvious and well honored, each bringing it's own piece to a well put together puzzle. Well done!
Wonderfully interwoven plot with a fast-paced rhythm that keeps one turning the pages until the very end. A fun read. Loved the cover. Wish that it was available in hard copy.
Painfully clunky dialogue, combined with 2 dimensional characters. I was left underwhelmed, kept trying to read to see if it improved, the opposite of gripping. Fails bechdel test, too clichéd with female characters of no substance.
As a fan of the superhero genre I found myself right at home with this book. Although I'm not an avid reader, the writing style kept me turning the pages and coming back to the book every day. I thought some of the action sequences within the book were described in an exciting and detailed manner that reminded me of almost an over-the-top comic book/video-game type sequence. Very nice job on the design of the cover of the book as well.
Frank Percacciante does an excellent job of combining the super hero genre that I loved growing up with the excitement and mystery that is found in a Dan Brown novel. The Forgotten Hero is an intriguing read from beginning to end, providing the reader with several twists along the way. As a result, this book provides two very separate but connected stories that leaves the reader consistently wanting more.
Starts out seeming like a typical superhero story, but as it develops it becomes an increasingly intricate and thought-provoking story involving fate and fulfilling one's destiny.
